adjoe Playtime for mobile games: how rewarded playtime works, and how to test it
adjoe's Playtime rewards players for the minutes they spend in a game, or for the milestones they reach in it. The reward is paid out as coins or points inside the app where the player found the offer.
What adjoe is
adjoe is an ad-tech company in the Applike Group. Its product for advertisers, Playtime, is a rewarded ad unit that sits inside other apps. adjoe lists fintech, loyalty, retail and health among them. Players see a selection of games picked for them, install one and start earning within minutes. Campaigns can reward time played or milestones reached, such as hitting a level. Playtime runs on Android and iOS.
adjoe's own numbers put Playtime in around 1,000 apps, at about 360 installs a minute and 60 to 80 installs per thousand impressions. In Singular's ROI Index 2026 it appeared on 16 leaderboards. adjoe says it was the only rewarded network there with "exclusive reach", which Singular defines as installs where a network is the only engagement channel in the path to attribution.
In January a partnership with LINE put Playtime inside LINE POINTS in Taiwan, and in June adjoe expanded in Latin America after 140% revenue growth in the region.
Which games it suits
The reward follows play, so the channel favors games with depth. A player paid for minutes or levels keeps going while the game gives them more to do. Puzzle, casual and strategy developers are among the partners adjoe names. A game with a short content arc runs out of milestones to reward.
With any rewarded channel, check whether players keep playing once the reward stops being the reason. adjoe says Playtime players do, and your day-30 cohorts will show whether that holds for your game.
How to run a first test
- Put the milestones near your monetization. If first purchases cluster around level 15, a milestone there pulls players toward the part of the game that pays.
- Judge the cohort on day-7 and day-30 retention and on ROAS, side by side with your other channels. Cost per install is a weak signal for a rewarded cohort.
- Give each geo two to three weeks before you decide. That's the window adjoe itself suggests.
- Keep targeting broad at first. adjoe warns that narrow targeting can hurt performance. adjoe also says creative variations have a limited impact on this format, and suggests at most three creative sets per language, each tested for at least two weeks.
- Compare payers at day 30. Put the share of payers in the adjoe cohort next to your organic and paid-social cohorts. That comparison tells you whether the reward brought in players or just reward-seekers.
How to reach adjoe through SuperScale Media
adjoe is one of the 36 networks in the SuperScale Media portfolio. Your spend runs through SuperScale's own network agreements — one IO, 35+ networks. Onboarding is a tracking link, not an integration project.
If rewarded playtime is on your list to test, put your own numbers into the ROI calculator. It lists every network in the portfolio.
